Finishing

I spent yesterday evening finishing up a pile of ornaments - until I ran out of stuffing! I've had the bag of stuffing for years, never seeming to make much of a dent in it, but now I've set myself targets with my finishing, the bag has been emptied in a matter of weeks! Oh well, it's an excuse to go to my LNS before the gales and rain sets in - it's hard to believe they are on the way, it's so crisp and sunny at the moment.

A trip to the LHS is always a good excuse. You have lots of great finishings here. I love needlerolls, I probably have stitched and finished over 50 of them. Now it is the biscornu addiction. Thank you for dropping by my blog. My little boy still is very sick with the cough at night. In the daytime, he is no trouble at all. Another sleepless night for me.

Did you get the rain and gales? We have had high-ish winds and no rain. Nothing like they said. It's sunny here at the moment but very chilly!

You are TOO kind, girl, I've got HEAPS to learn about stitchcraft!=)

Ya know what brasses me off about people's attitude towards more 'humble' occupations and that's that some see them as actually being beneath them, or beneath someone with a degree etc! I was once told that it was in some way shameful for me as a graduate to be working as a mere secretary! The world would come to a grinding holt a great deal faster without the lower paid and 'looked down' on occupations than it would without all the graduate trained professionals! (Always excepting doctors, of course!)
