I think I started this in 1998, when I moved back North and lived with my parents for a while. The design is by Elaine Cosier and was published in Cross Stitch Collection. It features a number of specialty stitches.
Pros:
- Stitched on linen
- Specialty stitches
Cons:
- I've lost the chart - that's a pretty big one!
- Don't like the colours I've chosen
So - Finish or Fling?
Verdict: Fling. Or at least, recycle the linen.

I saw an interesting post recently ... can't remember where ... about taking such pieces and [gasp] cutting them up and then sewing them together again, crazy quilt fashion, to make small pillows, sachets, pin cushions or other oddments. Just something for your consideration!
Oh, that's such a shame you lost the chart, as it's a really pretty design. I agree with Riona, perhaps cut up what you've done for a pillow or similar.
Shame you lost the chart - it's very pretty! Maybe you should put out a request to see if anyone has it and is willing to lend/give it to you.
Well, now that's a good reason to fling. No pattern LOL.
Oh, I love your work. I can't get enough of needlework and my art work. All of these wonderful blogs like yours are such and inspiration. I think my biggest accomplishment was finishing Drawn Threads piece 'Sanctuary".
Thanks for your inspiration. Hop on over to my blog sometime and take a peek.
